Ronnie Angle Celebrates 10 Years with Boys Home of Virginia

Ronnie Angle recently celebrated 10 years with Boys Home of Virginia. Originally from Alleghany County, he attended school with Boys Home residents, but was largely unaware of the organization until he had a conversation with Donnie and Robin Costigan, two houseparents at that time. Ronnie and his wife, Linda, applied and were welcomed as houseparents. In that role, he found he enjoyed developing relationships with the boys and became invested in trying to help them mature into successful young men.

In 2018, Ronnie joined the maintenance staff and remains a part of that department today. He likes the variety of tasks that he faces in a typical workday, and although he doesn’t work directly with students now, he says, “I stay here for the boys. Even though I have less contact with them, I still enjoy working and interacting with them.”

“Ronnie is a valued member of the team, and I’m pleased to work with him,” stated Director of Support Services Robert Trice. “He continues to mentor students and teach them the tools of his trade as a member of our maintenance department.”

The Boys Home administration and staff join in congratulating Ronnie as he celebrates 10 years with the organization.
