Matching Grant

Funding vital improvements to our historic campus.

The beautiful, historic Boys Home campus covers 1,400 scenic acres in the Alleghany Highlands. It includes 20 buildings, including seven cottages that have been home to young men and their dreams for over a century. Each year, new projects bring fresh challenges to the Boys Home budget, including the need for expanded programs and facility improvements.

Because these needs are so critical, we have been blessed with a matching grant from the Mary Morton Parsons Foundation. This means that every dollar you give to this campaign will be matched. Our goal is to raise $100,000.00 by November 15, 2024, which will be fully allocated to our campus maintenance needs and facility upgrades. Please join us in supporting this effort. To donate, click here and select Facilities in the drop-down menu. You may also contact the Development team at 540-965-7707 or send a check, but please note that the donation is for the facilities campaign.

Your generosity ensures that we can continue to provide a home that meets basic needs and fosters growth, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
