As the season of Lent begins, Boys Home of Virginia has created a Lenten prayer and giving calendar to share with you and your family. Beginning Wednesday, February 17th, each day highlights a prayer request and a suggested donation, and most days include the name of a specific student at Boys Home to pray for. Each Sunday offers a passage of scripture, along with a prayer request. The calendar ends on April 3rd, just in time for the Easter celebration.
Due to the pandemic safety precautions, all in-person events, fundraisers, and activities are being restructured in creative ways. Boys Home hopes that this calendar will be a thoughtful and interactive way to celebrate Lent, as well as learn more about Boys Home of Virginia’s residents and mission.
