Other ways to help

support for us comes in many forms

NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Boys Home participates in the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP), which provides state tax credits as incentives for businesses and individuals to contribute directly to a nonprofit organization like ours.

Individuals’ contributions are limited to cash or marketable securities.  In return for the unrestricted contributions, individuals receive credits that may be applied against their state income tax liability.

Boys Home does not have tax credits available at this time.

If you want more information, please contact Sandra at 540/965-7714 or sfscruggs@boyshomeofva.org.

As always consult your tax adviser for information on tax liability.

THE BISHOP JETT FUND

This fund was named in honor of the first Bishop from the Diocese of Southwestern Virginia, who served on the Boys Home Board of Trustees, and it helps to support the expenses of our Religious Life Program.  Donations are used for maintenance and upkeep for All Saints’ Chapel on our campus.  And the fund also supports worship resources, religious education materials, church camps and conferences, the Boys Home Singers, and youth group activities and religious awards for Boy Scout Troop #66.

Visitors to Boys Home see the beautiful oak artwork in the lobby of the Administration Building.  This “Tree of Life” is a special way to recognize the generous donors who support the Bishop Jett Fund and continue the legacy of spirituality that is so important here.

To learn more about the fund, or to make a donation, please call (540) 965-7714.
