Work With Purpose. Change Lives. Grow Together.

At Boys Home of Virginia, we’re more than a workplace — we’re a community of mission-driven people committed to empowering young men to become responsible, confident, and successful members of society. For over a century, Boys Home has provided a stable, supportive, and growth-centered environment where students can thrive academically, socially, spiritually, and physically.

Every position here isn’t just a job — it’s an invitation to make a lasting impact in the lives of youth while you grow personally and professionally.

ABOUT THE YOUNG MEN WE SERVE

You can’t fully understand this work without understanding who it’s for.

Boys Home serves young men in grades 1–12 who are at risk due to economic conditions, limited community resources, or lack of support within their school systems. Many arrive below grade level, facing learning differences, behavioral challenges, or simply a lack of stable adult figures in their lives. No student is ever turned away because of financial need. Full scholarships are available to all who qualify.

Our Episcopalian foundation welcomes students and staff of all faiths and none. Spiritual life is a meaningful part of our community, not a barrier to entry.

Programming goes well beyond academics. Students have access to a working farm, trades training, competitive athletics, kayaking, and outdoor activities alongside small-class instruction from dedicated educators.

This is a flexible, come-as-you-are event. Spend as much or as little time as you’d like getting to know Boys Home of Virginia.

The people who work here say it best.
